7-Day "Break Free from Procrastination" Challenge - 7-Day "Break Free from Procrastination" Challenge
In this lesson, you'll learn how to attack procrastination from every angle- ensuring its defeat!
There's a reason why willpower and motivation alone don't work in getting rid of procrastination – because it doesn't address the many faces of the problem.
The five hidden faces of procrastination are overwhelm, distraction, negative self-talk, perfectionism, and negative comparison.
To get rid of procrastination for good, you must find and shatter all five of these faces.
This 7-Day challenge helps you do just that. It's not easy, but it's worth it.
In this 7-Day "Break-free from procrastination challenge, you identify and overcome each hidden face of procrastination.
Freeing you, to blast towards your entrepreneurial goals faster than ever!
Imagine trying to drive to your favorite vacation destination.
Of course, there are many obvious steps you'll need to take...but all the planning in the world can't get you to your destination unless you put the key in the ignition and start the car.
Next, you'll need to make sure you focus on the path right in front of you and not get distracted by objects that have nothing to do with driving out of the garage.
Sure, the new gadgets lined up along the garage walls are shiny, but they aren't going to help you get to your destination any faster!
You also need to make sure that nothing inside the car is distracting you from your path. Loud backseat drivers, constantly telling you how bad a driver you are, will only make the journey more difficult.
So, the first step to reaching your destination is to turn off your distractions and focus on the task at hand: getting out of the garage!
But wait, the car is still in "park". Pressing the gas only results in the car going nowhere fast. To get the car moving, you'll need to shift into "drive".
And finally, while you're driving, you need to make sure you stay focused on where you're headed.
Can you imagine how long it would take to get to your destination if you're constantly trying to follow other random cars? It would be a disaster!
Overwhelm is like not being able to start the car. It's the sense of dread that prevents you from getting started on a project.
You know you need to do it, but you just can't seem to get yourself to take that first step.
Distraction is like looking everywhere instead of out the windshield. It's when you're so focused on other things that you're not able to see what's important right in front of you!
Progress!
Negative self-talk is like having really bad passengers in the car. They're constantly telling you how terrible of a driver you are and that you'll never make it to your destination. This only serves to make the journey more difficult.
Perfectionism is like staying in "park".
You never move forward because you're so focused on making sure everything is just perfect.
Negative comparison is like trying to follow other cars without knowing where they're going or the road that got them there.
When you compare yourself to others and feel inferior, it only serves to hold you back.

When it comes to success, it's important to remember that it's not optional – it's a must. You owe it to yourself and to those around you to be successful. This may seem like a daunting task, but with the right mindset and approach, you can make success your duty.
The truth is, actions have consequences. Inaction is still action (the act of doing nothing). And the pace of your actions or the lack of your initiative will have devastating consequences on you, your family, and your community.
Do you know how many people you affect by having a successful business?
When you're wildly successful, you're not the only one that benefits. Yes, you benefit but so does your family, friends, community customers, and their family/friends/communities, it ripples out powerfully.
So don't shy away from success – embrace it! It's within your reach if you're willing to do what it takes. Remember, success is not optional – it's a must.
If you're like most people, you probably have a pretty good idea of what you want to achieve in life. But do you know WHY you want to achieve it? Having a clear and compelling reason for pursuing your dreams is essential to maintaining your motivation and sense of purpose, especially when times get tough.
Think about it this way: if your only reason for pursuing your dreams is to make more money or acquire more stuff, then it's going to be very easy to give up when things get tough. But if your motivation is something deeper – something that really matters to you – then you're much more likely to stick with it, no matter what.
So how do you find your deep, compelling WHY? By doing deep. Seven levels deep, specifically.
We need to do this because your first answer is likely to be something surface-level, like "I want to be rich" or "I want to be famous." But if you keep asking yourself WHY you want those things, eventually you'll get to the heart of the matter. And that's where your real magic happens.
Here's how it works:
1. Write down your goal.
2. Ask yourself WHY you want to achieve that goal.
3. Write down your answer.
4. Ask yourself WHY you want that.
5. Write down your answer.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you can't go any further or until your answers start to repeat themselves. Try to go at least 7 levels before stopping.
At the end of this process, you should have a much better understanding of WHY you want to achieve your goal. And that understanding will be your motivation when things get tough.
So give it a try!
